Gates v. Grossman-Tried to verdict – September 2015
This case involved a motorcycle vs. car accident wherein the Plaintiff suffered compound fractures of both wrist and ankle. The Plaintiff who was a motorcycle mechanic was left with a claw like deformity of his dominant hand. The Plaintiff maintained that the Defendant changed lanes abruptly in front of him causing his motorcycle to hit the rear of the Defendant’s Corvette. The Defendant maintained he was already squarely in his lane when struck from behind by the Plaintiff. Attorney Michael Robb was able to convince the jury that his client’s version of the accident was the more likely scenario. The jury agreed by finding the Defendant without any fault for the accident.
