Dexter Romanez

Dexter Romanez was born and raised
in Miami, Florida. He is a graduate of Coral Park
High School and received his Bachelor of Science
degree in Journalism at Florida International University.
At FIU he was on the Dean’s Student Advisory
Committee and belonged to the Society of Professional
Journalists.
Dexter is a 2003 graduate of Nova University’s
Shepherd Broad Law Center and has been admitted to
the Florida Bar and the United States District Court
for the Southern District of Florida. During law
school, he had extensive experience clerking at various
local law firms, and after his admission to the Bar,
worked as an Associate at Bared & Associates
in Coral Gables with responsibilities for a wide
range of personal injury and commercial litigation
matters.
Besides his membership in the Florida Bar, Dexter
is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association,
the Dade County Bar Association, and the American
Bar Association.
Dexter’s wife, Helen, is also an attorney. They have two dogs and
enjoy fishing. He is fluent in Spanish.
